It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a compliment to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to maintain a record if never given the opportunity.

Whether this latest epic knock topped that previous effort is debatable.

Certain people claim the argument supporting championship match pressure. Different voices suggest with the test that comes when facing a record target and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What's clear is this hundred was far harder to predict.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she topped the run-scoring charts, but this performance came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it's been a frustrating experience because it appeared I lacked timing at all," said Healy.

She was tormented by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

A single came off the bowler's initial ball and from that point the right-hander was underway.

"A chance to take the field and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was out her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the belief to achieve that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

In recent days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.
